In addition to obstetrical and gynecologic services, we offer the following more specialized services.
Adolescent Gynecology
Our physicians will see young ladies at any age who are experiencing gynecological difficulties. We also offer the gardasil vaccination for prevention of certain types of human papillomavirus (HPV). This service has been approved by the FDA and is recommended for girls and young women between the ages of 9 and 26.
Infertility
Infertility affects 10-15% of couples in the child-bearing years.The Women's Care physicians provide initial evaluations, treatment and referrals to other subspecialists when indicated.
Sonogram
Available by appointment at Sante Fe and Southridge locations.
Bone Density Testing for Osteoporosis
Available by appointment at Southridge location.
Laboratory Testing
Available at both locations.
The specific lab used is based on your insurance plan. Draw stations are available for specific insurance plans at several convenient locations in the K.C. area. Billing is submitted by the lab directly to your insurance plan.
Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)
We offer traditional medication therapy as well as a holistic, more natural approach to hormone replacement. Each plan is individualized according to your specific needs.
Genetic Counseling
Done in conjunction with genetic specialists from the prenatal group, Midwest Diagnostics Services, affiliated with St. Luke's Hospital.
Fetal Non-Stress Testing
Available by appointment at Sante Fe and Southridge locations.
